Juventus Consider Cashing In On Trezeguet To Move For Giuseppe Rossi

Juventus could become involved in negotiations withVillarreal in an attempt to trade David Trezeguet for Italian ace Giuseppe Rossi, according to Tuttosport. Trezeguet has been hotly tipped to leave the club following a nine-year spell in Turin. Despite Alessio Secco's recent claims of keeping the Frenchman, new voices have surfaced which claim there could be a deal for the Italian youngster, who has hinted at a Serie A return in the past with 'Trez' heading the other way. The report suggests 'Trezegol' would be willing to join Villarreal and accept a pay cut in the process after the Spanish club reportedly offered the hitman a three-year deal worth €3million per season.. The French striker's agent has hinted that such a deal is possible. "We could work towards this type of operation," Antonio Caliendo told Tuttosport. Rossi would fit the bill at Juventus as he is young, has pace and energy and he is playing some great football following his recent displays for Italy. The hitman scored two great goals in last night's Confederations Cup match against the USA. The Bianconeri are expected to take their interest in Rossi further, but signing him will not be cheap as it is reported the Italians will need around €18m to land him. Villarreal is not the only option for Trezeguet though as he has also been linked with Roma and Real Madrid.
