Arsenal target Chamakh could leave Bordeaux
Bordeaux president Jean-Michel Triaud has said that Arsenal transfer target Marouane Chamakh could leave the French Ligue 1 club in the "next few days".

However, with the Gunners unwilling to improve on their rejected offer of £6m, the door has been left open for the 25-year-old striker to move to Premier League rivals Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland.
Either way, Triaud insists the future of the Moroccan international will be decided imminently. "It will be settled in the next few days," he told L'Equipe.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has publicly stated his admiration of Chamakh, but with the player able to leave Bordeaux next season he will not pay over the odds for the striker's services.
Wenger said: "In five months, if he doesn't prolong his contract, Chamakh will be free to talk to any club and Bordeaux won't get anything. In the current context, to me, it is over.
"I like Chamakh, he is a forward that attracts me, but I have Walcott, Bendtner, Van Persie, Arshavin and Eduardo. I am in no rush, there are other options."
