Lucio: I dream of working with Mourinho

Lucio's transfer to Inter Milan is not yet officially confirmed but the Bayern Munich defender has already said he is looking forward to playing under manager Jose Mourinho at the San Siro.

Lucio: Medical away from Inter

The Brazil international, who is due to undergo a medical in Lombardy on Friday, will sign a three-year deal with the Nerazzurro and only a few formalities stand between the 31-year-old and his "dream" of working with the 'Special One'.

"I am very happy to be at one of the most important clubs in the world," Lucio said. "I've always dreamed of being coached by [Jose] Mourinho and to play with [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic.

"I've seen him play and I'm happy to have him as a team-mate and not as an opponent."

Lucio, Inter's third major new signing so far, may want to avoid reading the Spanish press as they claim that Ibrahimovic, the man he is looking forward to playing with, is already on his way to Barcelona in a cash plus player deal.

According to Sport, Barca chiefs Joan Laporta, Txiki Begiristain and Raul Sanllehi met with Inter supremo Massimo Moratti late on Thursday and an agreement was reached around midnight.

The transfer will reportedly see the Spanish champions part with €40m plus Samuel Eto'o and the one-year loan of Alexander Hleb to the Italian club.
