Spain v Iraq

~
After Spain's flying start on Sunday when they thrashed New Zealand 5-0, coach Vicente del Bosque is unlikely to make too many changes to his side.
Reported Manchester United target David Silva has impressed in training and might replace Liverpool's Albert Riera.
Iraq coach Bora Milutinovic could start with the same 11 players who drew against South Africa.
Hawar Mohammed appears most likely to come into the side if Milutinovic opts to play an extra man in midfield.

MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
- Spain and Iraq have never previously met.
Spain
- Spain will set a new world record for consecutive victories if they beat Iraq, breaking the all-time record of 14 games that they currently share with Australia (1996/97), Brazil (1997) and France (2003/04).
- Sunday's 11-minute hat-trick scored by Fernando Torres is the fastest in Confederations Cup history.
- Torres also set a new Spanish national record for the fastest international hat-trick. His strike partner David Villa had only set a new 12-minute record five days earlier, in Spain's 6-0 win over Azerbaijan.
- David Villa's goal on Sunday saw him move level with Fernando Hierro on the list of all-time Spanish top goalscorers. They are now equal second with 29 goals, still 15 goals short of Raul.
Iraq

- It has now been more than a year since Iraq last won an official international fixture. Their last victory came against China in a World Cup qualifying match on 14 June 2008.
- Iraq's winless run has been extended to nine games, of which five have been drawn.
- Despite being the current Asian champions, Iraq are currently ranked just seventh in their own confederation.
